Zanskar Valley is about 20 kms. South of Rangdum. The most isolated of all the Trans Himalayan Valleys. The Panzila Top (4401 m) is the picturesque tableland adorned with two small alpine lakes and surrounded by snow covered peaks.

Lamayuru Monastery is situated 127 Kms west of Leh. In the 11th, century the mahasiddha Naropa came to this place and the cave where he resided and meditated is still to be seen today.
Pangong Lake also known as Pangong Tso is a beautiful endorheic lake situated in the Himalayas and is 134 km long, extending from India to China.
The smallest of the three high altitude alpine lakes in th Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Tso Kar Lake is situated in the Rupshu Valley at an elevation of over 14,700 ft.
