Keylong

eylong (or Kyelong or Kyelang) is the administrative centre of the Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, 126 km (78 mi) north of Manali and 120 km (75 mi) from the Indo-Tibetan border.

Zanskar Valley

Zanskar Valley is about 20 kms. South of Rangdum. The most isolated of all the Trans Himalayan Valleys. The Panzila Top (4401 m) is the picturesque tableland adorned with two small alpine lakes and surrounded by snow covered peaks.

Suru Valley

This is a fertile valley of immense beauty. Its composite population of 25,000 of Tibeto-Dard descent are Muslims who converted their Buddhist faith around the 16th century.

Kargil

Kargil is 204 km from Srinagar and located on the Srinagar to Leh Highway. It is also a junction where roads to Skardu and Zanskar converge.

Dha Hanu

Located around 163 km north-west of the town of Leh, the village settlements of Dha and Hanu are placed on the meeting points of Indus and Shyok Rivers in the Kargil region.

Magnetic Hill

The “magnetic hill” is located on the Leh-Kargil-Baltik national highway, about 30 km from Leh, at a height of 14,000 feet above sea level.

Alchi

The village of Alchi is situated around 70 kms. from Leh on the left banks of the Indus river. The village Alchi differentiate itself from other villages of Ladakh by being so lush green.

Lamayuru

Lamayuru Monastery is situated 127 Kms west of Leh. In the 11th, century the mahasiddha Naropa came to this place and the cave where he resided and meditated is still to be seen today.

Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake also known as Pangong Tso is a beautiful endorheic lake situated in the Himalayas and is 134 km long, extending from India to China.

Tso-kar Lake

The smallest of the three high altitude alpine lakes in th Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Tso Kar Lake is situated in the Rupshu Valley at an elevation of over 14,700 ft.
